To support the opening of registration and abstract submissions for the Southern environmental DNA Society (SeDNAS)’s eDNA Conference 2027, the conference’s ECR Subcommittee is excited to launch a dedicated ECR Webinar on 15 May 2026.
We invite all ECRs, and anyone interested in attending the conference, to join this interactive session designed to build confidence in abstract writing, presentations, and scientific communication.
This webinar will provide practical guidance on crafting strong abstracts and developing engaging presentations and posters. We will also be joined by Gracie Kroos and Joseph Perkins, who delivered award-winning talks at the 2025 eDNA Conference and will re-present their talks to help spark ideas and demonstrate examples of engaging and impactful research presentations.
The webinar will also cover:
•Practical tips for writing and submitting effective abstracts
•Strategies for creating visually engaging scientific posters
